Our mission is to provide a rejuvenating retreat venue where entrepreneurs can escape daily distractions and focus on what truly matters. At Marsh Manor, guests will engage in deep work, strategic planning, and personal growth, all while connecting with like-minded peers. We empower our guests to return home with actionable insights, renewed energy, and the clarity needed to elevate their businesses.

Our vision is to be the premier retreat destination for entrepreneurs seeking to break free from the chaos of their daily routines. We envision a space where focused work and collaboration flourish, allowing individuals to tackle the strategic challenges they can't address in the office. Our aim is to equip them with the tools and inspiration to return home ready to drive their businesses forward.

Meet the CEO

I've been an entrepreneur throughout my career, owning a promotional marketing agency, a retail store, and now managing our property. After selling my retail gift store, I shifted to working as a profitability coach and inventory planner for independent boutique owners. I am passionate about community, connection and lifelong learning.

Originally from Virginia, I moved to the Georgia coast in 2020. We are fortunate to have acquired 60+ acre property about 35 minutes south of Savannah, with two guest houses and breathtaking marsh views and deep water access. Currently, we offer these houses on Airbnb, but we're actively working on a master site plan with to expand and enhance our property. Ultimately, I envision not only hosting our own events and retreats but also establishing a calendar of gatherings throughout the year focused on personal and professional development for entrepreneurs. Our goal is to create a space where entrepreneurs can connect, recharge, and grow.

General Knowledge Questions

  • Directions to 561 Bagley Fussell Road, Midway GA 31320: Take Exit 76 off Interstate 95 towards Midway. Follow W. Ogelthrope Hwy to a RIGHT turn on Isle of Wight Road (Subway, Celebrate Beverage Center & Stoners Pizza will be on the corner). Go about a mile and then turn LEFT onto Bagley Fussell Road.

    IMPORTANT - Some older mapping systems will try to tell you to go down Family Road. Do not listen to your gps if it says this - Family Road and Bagley Fussell no longer connect. You will turn onto Bagley Fussell off Isle of Wight Road and will NOT use Family road to access this property. Bagley Fussell is a private drive that is only one way travel in a few spots. Please drive slow to enjoy the view, avoid any bumps and pass with caution should you encounter neighbors on the road. There are two houses at the very end of the road. This property is the white house on the RIGHT.

  • Check in time is 3pm but we are happy to accommodate an earlier check in if the schedule permits. Let us know what time you plan to arrive and we will make sure the house is unlocked and ready for your arrival.

  • The River House comfortably sleeps 10 people. The house has four bedrooms & two full baths. The primary bedroom has an en suite bathroom, walk in closets & gorgeous water views. This room has both a king size bed as well as an oversized chair that is a twin sized sleeper sofa. The second bedroom has a queen bed with water. The third bedroom has a queen bed and wooded views. The fourth bedroom has a queen size bed and wooded views. There is a second oversized chair in the front "office" that contains a twin sleeper sofa. 

    The Cottage House sleeps 10 people as well. The primary bedroom has an en suite bathroom, walk in closet, views of the water & a king bed. The second bedroom has two queen beds, water views and attached full bathroom. This bedroom also has an exterior door that leads to the screened porch. This room also has a desk area overlooking the marsh for those who need to work while on their travels. The third bedroom has one queen bed and wooded views.

  • Our prices vary depending on the time of year, length of stay, and group size. You can check rates by trying to book your stay—no worries, you won't be charged right away while you're checking the price.

  • Bed linens, bath towels, and beach towels are provided for your stay. Each bathroom includes soap and shampoo.

  • Yes, we offer both smart TV and internet access on both properties, so you can stay connected while you unwind.

  • Fire pit, propane grill, and grilling utensils are available. Firewood for the fire pit is provided and replenished as needed during the stay.

  • A starter supply of bottled water, snacks, coffee, tea, half and half and sweeteners are stocked in the kitchen. In the River House, there is a Keurig K-Duo Coffee maker that makes both single serve and carafe coffee. Both pods and coffee grounds are provided.

  • In the River House, the front room has a desk that is a perfect place for drawing, crafts & puzzles or provides a quiet space to work if you need to dial in during your vacay. As for the Cottage House, its has a full sized desk and wifi to keep you connected while still allowing you to enjoy the water views!

  • Absolutely! We’d love to give you a tour. Contact us to schedule a visit and see the place for yourself.

  • Boaters are welcome to tie up at our dock overnight during their stay. Additionally, the Jones Creek boat ramp, located less than half a mile away, is available. Please note, Jones Creek is a high-tide-only ramp, with no access to water at low tide. For more flexible access, the Sunbury boat ramp is approximately a 15-minute drive and is not tide-dependent for use.

  • Yes, you’re welcome to kayak, fish, and crab! We provide poles, tackle, and crab traps. Just grab some chicken from the IGA for bait. For pond fishing, please use single hooks and practice catch and release.

  • We appreciate your understanding, but at this time, pets are not allowed at our property. We strive to maintain a comfortable and allergen-free environment for all guests. Thank you for your cooperation!

Retreat-Focused Questions

  • We can comfortably host up to 20 guests, so everyone can rest easy without fighting over the best bed.

  • You bet! We've curated a fantastic list of local vendors for all your needs, from catering to yoga instructors. Think of us as your local event guru.

  • As we primarily focus on accommodation, we aren't equipped to accommodate short-term rental requests. Our retreat experiences are tailored for extended stays to provide a fully immersive experience. Minimum stay requirements apply, but we're sure you'll appreciate the extra time to unwind and enjoy your stay fully.

  • To receive a full refund, you must cancel at least 30 days before check-in. You can also receive a full refund within 48 hours of booking if the cancellation is at least 14 days before check-in. If you cancel between 7 and 30 days before check-in, you’ll receive a 50% refund for all nights. Cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in will not be refunded.
